England

Last week was a week full of experiences and memories. Five other students and I were in England together after we've been in an essay writing-competition. We did various interesting things on the trip. I am going to start off by writing about how we lived.
We lived on a bed & breakfast in Shrewsbury called The Old Station. Why is it called that, you might wonder? The answer to that question is that it used to be a railway station, and the railway was actually only literally one meter away from the wall. You also probably wonder if the trains didn't bother us, and guess what? They did. The place was however really nice and the couple owning the little B&B were awfully nice and humouristic. They sure did know how to entertain their guests. We only ate breakfast at this place but the breakfast was indeed incredibly satisfying. We got a meny and just crossed off everything we'd like to have in the morning. I ate toast, mushrooms, bacon and scrambled eggs. Heaven.
On the trip we did many things. For example, we went to the iron bridge. This is the first iron bridge in the world, and it was the start of the industrial revolution. Amazingly astonishing and beautiful. We also went to different elite schools, like Shrewsbury school and Adams Grammar School. These were very interesting to see. They all wear uniforms and are implausibly disciplined. It feels like you're in a movie when you walk through the corridor.
The last day we went to Oxford. We were going to look at the school as well as meet my brother who study there. We talked about school, ate good food, were shown around the city and had a nice time in general.
To summarize, the trip was great and we had a lot of fun. We learned a lot about history as well as about the culture and the language. England is extremely enjoyable but I prefer Sweden, all though I hope to return soon.
